Scientific research activity
Research work is closely connected with field practice, and the collective of workers is also profiled in expert and consulting activities. The clinic also provides space for the professional growth of graduates and doctoral students, as well as the continuous scientific and pedagogical growth of teachers to obtain teaching degrees. In the scientific-research area, the workplace mainly focuses on the field of metabolic disorders and the possibilities of influencing them and, in addition, solves problems in the following areas:
- The influence of high exploitation on selected biochemical indicators of the internal environment of pigs in relation to nutrition and morbidity
- Analysis of the causes of increased incidence of embryonic mortality in sows in the current conditions of large-scale pig farming
- Diagnosis, therapy and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases
- Circulation of herpesviruses in the animal population
