Accreditation
In the European Union, veterinary medicine and pharmacy belong among the so-called controlled professions and the respective education has to satisfy the EU Directive 2005/36/ES. Based on evaluation by European Association Establishments for Veterinary Education, the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice was put on the EAEVE list and it was stated that the study programmes “General Veterinary Medicine” and “Animal Science” comply with the requirements of EU Directive 2005/36/ES. Current status of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice is "Approval & Accreditation". It is also important that EAEVE is full member of The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
