Study Office

Study Office belongs in the organizational structure of the UVMP in Košice under the office of Vice-rector for Education. Study Office ensures organisation of teaching process in individual study programmes in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study provided in Slovak and English languages.

Study office in particular:

• ensures administrative activities related to educational process,
• actively seeks opportunities to expand university contacts in Slovakia and abroad in the field of education and promotion of study,
• ensures preparation, course and evaluation of admission procedure,
• ensures registration of students,
• maintains agenda and records related to execution of educational process,
• prepares documents for issue of content focus of admission examination and study programme for the relevant academic year,
• processes source materials and documents for planning of teaching process and preparation of timetable,
• organizes final examinations, state examinations and thesis defences,
• prepares and organizes official acts and ceremonies of students and graduates,
• participates in development of methodical work of university workplaces in the field of educational processes,
• comprehensively administers student support in accordance with the higher education act,
• serves as a contact and advisory body for foreign students in the field of study and residence in Slovakia,
• performs activities related to recognition of educational qualifications acquired at higher education institutions abroad,
• prepares source materials and documents for the Vice-Rector for Education and administratively manages his activities,
• is responsible for preparation of source materials and documents related to educational process for the decision-making process of the Rector,
• performs other related tasks and activities.
