The war between Russia and Ukraine has affected many of our friends, partners and colleagues in Ukraine. Rector of the National agrarian university Bila Cerkva prof. Dr. Olena Shust in her e-mail correspondence to the rector of our university, wrote, among other things:

"We value our cooperation and everything else we have achieved in our joint projects, academic exchanges, joint research, conferences and workshops. We could do more if there was no war. We firmly believe that truth will prevail over lies and victory will be ours. We know you are on our side and we feel your compassion and support. We are convinced that after the war we will renew our partnership and continue our cooperation. Thank you for your support! "

The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice unequivocally rejects aggression, condemns the violence and, in the spirit of humanism and respect for human rights, expresses solidarity with the Ukrainian people. It is ready to help Ukrainian students and researchers who are interested in helping. We very much want the conflict beyond our eastern borders to end as soon as possible so that everyone can return to their families, our work, and our mutually beneficial partners. We are in the minds of our friends at the University of Bila Tserkva, but also at other universities, and we believe that their war conflict will be affected as little as possible.
