Clinical Skills Centre

Clinical Skills Centre represents a unique workplace that gives students wider opportunities to acquire practical skills. The role of the center is to extend the possibilities of acquiring practical skills using machetes and model patients before live animals are used in direct education, minimizing the pain of treated animals through the skills acquired in mock-ups and model patients. It allows practicing the practical clinical skills and skills that are necessary in their future profession, reducing the stress of the animal from the procedure and the student from lack of skills. Model center equipment allows the practice of several practical methods such as anesthesia, aseptic manipulation with the base material, aseptic preparation for surgical procedures, infusion, intravenous catheter, dressing technique, ophthalmology, suturing, X-ray and USG examination, dental treatment, etc. The aim of the center is to teach and train the skills expected from a new graduate of veterinary medicine.
