The Annual General Meeting of the Visegrad University Association was in Košice
The Annual Meeting of the Visegrad University Association (VUA) was hold on 19-20 September 2019 at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. Almost 40 representatives of VUA member universities and institutions attended the meeting.
Prof. Jana Mojžišová, Rector of UVMP, and VUA President Prof. Peter Bielik opened General Meeting, President Bielik evaluated the association activities and introduced the plans of Visegrad University Association for the upcoming period. General Meeting approved the VUA Annual Report as well the Proposal of activities for 2020.
During 2019, new universities applied for VUA membership. The General Assembly approved the admission of Kaposvár University in Hungary.
