Young people from Israel were the first students after the Velvet Revolution to study in English at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. The University expresses its support and solidarity to all the graduates and students, as well as to their families, friends and loved ones. We hope that reason will prevail over bigotry in this senseless conflict. We believe that basic human rights and freedoms will once again become a core value of existence for the peoples living in this part of the world. The experience that Europe has gained in two major wars does not allow us to accept violence, brutality and genocide as a way of resolving any conflict. Only respect for life and democratic principles, respect for human rights and dialogue are the perspective of our lives.
The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice does everything possible to ensure that young people from all countries receive the maximum amount of knowledge, experience and skills.
