Support of the Ukrainian students and their families
The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice expresses its solidarity and support of the Ukrainian students and their families in coping with this difficult situation.
As a gesture of support, the university decided to provide our Ukrainian students and their families with:
- Remission of the fee for accommodation in UVMP Student Dormitories.
- Provision of meals in the form of free lunches and dinners.
- Provision of an extraordinary scholarship in the form of a one-time contribution of 200 EUR, paid in cash upon the student’s request.
- Study and social counselling through the Study Office (Ms. Žuravlovová, Mgr., phone number +421 905 899 433; e-mail: lenka.zuravlovova@uvlf.sk).
- Psychological counselling (contact provided by Ms. Žuravlovová, Mgr., phone number: +421 905 899 433; e-mail: lenka.zuravlovova@uvlf.sk).
- Individual approach to solving absence in the teaching process due to the current situation.
As a gesture of support, the university decided to provide Ukrainians interested in studying at UVMP and students of Ukrainian veterinary schools:
- Remission of the fee for submitting an application to study in the academic year 2022/2023.
- Possibility to complete a preparatory course for entrance examination free of charge.
- Students of veterinary faculties may complete part of their studies at our university as part of an exchange programme.
- Students of veterinary faculties may complete internships and clinical practices at the clinics of our university and their workplaces.
