The end of the riding and hunting season is connected with the festive Hubert's ride. The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, together with the City of Košice, organizes it on Friday, October 15, 2021. Hubert's ride honors riders, athletes and horses, who serve man, represent him and help him at work throughout the year. It is held in honor of St. Hubert - the patron saint of hunters and horsemen.

Exactly at noon, the horse riders will meet at the bronze statue of Ardo on the premises of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. From there, they will be escorted along Komenského and Hlavná streets to the State Theater. There will be a rider's arrival, ceremonial fanfares and the rules of Hubert's ride at 1 p.m. Then the riders go on a traditional "fox hunt".
