Announcement of the ICT Department – WebMail, WIFI and ISIC for ALL STUDY YEARS

Due to epidemiological measures, we ask all students to use only e-mail communication from the assigned official university e-mail addresses when solving problems with the ICT Department.

  • Login to university e-mail account for newly accepted students via webmail.uvlf.sk:
    Username: uvlf\student_ID_from_AiS2 (for example uvlf\12345)
    Default password: Heslo1.20
    Rules for changing the default password:
    Password must contain at least:
    • one capital letter
    • one lowercase letter
    • one digit
    • one character (e.g: . , ? * etc.)
    Minimum password length must be 9 letters and characters
    The password cannot contain first name or surname of the student.
    University mailboxes will be active only after September 21st 2020
  • Setting up wi-fi eduroam + form  (paper forms are also in front of the ICT Department)
    (Put the completed and signed forms in the box in front of the ICT Department in Pavilion No. 5 on the 1st floor, or send them to: richard.barat@uvlf.sk or jan.liptak@uvlf.sk or matej.rosko@uvlf.sk)
  • Renewal of ISIC cards
    Students from 2nd to 6th year of study can activate discounts on transport on their student's card from September 24th 2020 by placing the card on the terminal in Pavilion No. 17 (opposite the Pharmacy shop)
    To use ISIC discounts, it is necessary to install an ISIC application for smartphone www.isic.org/the-isic-global-app, which replaces the physical ISIC stamp on the card.
    Currently, your card is valid by September 30th 2020, but the validity will soon be extended to September 2021 in the application.
    There is no need for physical renewal stamp and there is no need to buy stamps in the application!
