Don't miss the registration for the OH SURVector project symposium

From the Alps to the Mediterranean: One Health surveillance and vector monitoring for cross-border pathogens. That is the goal of a scientific symposium organized as part of the international OH SURVector project (One Health Surveillance and Vector Monitoring for Cross-Border Pathogens), which will take place on November 24, 2026, in Vienna.

Registration for the event is open until November 8, 2026.

Vector-borne diseases, spread by mosquitoes and ticks, cause over 700,000 deaths annually but are preventable through control measures. Knowledge about the presence and distribution of vectors is key to inform policy interventions. The OH SURVector project aims at establishing nationwide surveillance systems to monitor vectors and pathogens, addressing data gaps and collaborating towards One Health surveillance.
