The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice is participating in one of the largest educational fairs in Sweden, the Saco Student Fair, which takes place on November 26-27, 2025, at Kistamässan in Stockholm. Our university is represented by Zuzana Kostecká, Vice-Rector for School Development and Quality Assessment, Diana Sokoliová from the Study Department - English Language Studies Section, and Tuva Lisa Margareta Wennerberg, a 4th-year student of the General Veterinary Medicine study program, who comes from Sweden. Their common goal is to promote the study programs General Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Nursing, and Animal Science.

Saco student fairs are Sweden's largest exhibition concept for post-secondary education. The university fairs are held in Stockholm and Malmö in combination with an extensive digital platform that serves as a digital guide to the fairs. They reach more than a third of young Swedes who are about to decide on post-secondary education – from all over central and southern Sweden. Exhibitors include universities and colleges from Sweden and abroad, employers and organizations, representatives for studying abroad, as well as Saco with its professional associations, which provide information on academic careers. For many young people, the process of choosing higher education begins at the Saco student fair. They discover a wide range of available options and are inspired by education providers, educational organizations, and future employers. Lectures, exhibitors, and study advisors provide them with everything they need to make an informed and conscious decision about their education.
