We would like to inform our valued customers and members of the academic community that the University Pharmacy on the UVLF campus in Košice is OPEN again from September 1, 2025, on working days from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The University Pharmacy was established in 2011 as a special-purpose facility of UVLF. It is a public healthcare facility focused on providing comprehensive pharmacy care for patients. The pharmacy's assortment includes human and veterinary medicines that are dispensed on prescription, as well as over-the-counter medicines.
The university pharmacy cooperates with clinics, departments, and workplaces of UVLF. It has the character of a hospital pharmacy, as it provides medicines as well as medical and laboratory materials for the clinics of the University Veterinary Hospital and university workplaces.

The pharmacy is equipped with a laboratory for the production of individually prepared medicines. It also has a classroom, which is used for teaching selected exercises from the subject Pharmacy and Social Pharmacy. The pharmacy staff work closely with teaching staff, particularly in connection with the preparation of diploma theses for students in the field of Pharmacy. The University Pharmacy allows pharmacy students to complete their compulsory 1-month and 5-month internships.
