Dear colleagues, fellow students,
partners, friends, collaborators and supporters
of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice,   

Thank you for all that we have achieved together in 2024, even for what we have failed to achieve, because it has forced us to look for new solutions and new ways, it has inspired us to be creative and not to be discouraged.

Let us wish each other that, together in 2025, we will meet most of our plans and the challenges ahead of us. They are many. The most serious will certainly be the international accreditation of our university. Let us do everything we can to pass it. But just as important will be the successful outcome of every sub-project, research work, the successful completion of a year or a whole course of study at our university. And alongside our work, the well-being and support of our families, communities, collectives, and societies must be placed at the same level of importance. Only with the support of people we care about can we work and live with joy and a sense of purpose.

So that 365 days from now we can say: "It has been a good year!", let us first of all wish each other good health. Health for people, for animals, for the environment, for the whole world around us. Healthy air, water and land, healthy thoughts, healthy opinions and healthy progress for the whole of society. It is up to each and every one of us.
