UVMP PRESENTED STUDIES AT NORWAY'S LARGEST EDUCATION FAIR IN OSLO
After a two-year break, the traditional education fair Utdanning & Karriere 2023 took place in Oslo, the capital of Norway, on 15-16 February 2023. Domestic and international universities were presented in Oslo's Telenor Arena. The task of their ambassadors was to attract potential future students, who could choose from a wide range of study programmes.
Among the foreign universities was also the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, which has rich experience of cooperation with young Norwegians, as well as other inhabitants of the Nordic countries. The study of veterinary medicine in English was presented by the Vice-Rector for Education Martin Tomko, the employee of the English language study office Michaela Paulíková and the 5th year student of General Veterinary Medicine Kristin Maria Kejr.
Another Slovak university that successfully presented itself in Oslo was the Jessenius Medical Faculty in Martin, which has also been educating Norwegian students in the field of human medicine for a long time.
The long-standing excellent relations with Norway were also underlined by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland, Roman Bužek, who personally participated in the presentations of.
