The 43rd annual conference HYGIENA ALIMENTORUM with the thematic focus "Safety and Quality of Milk and Plant Commodities – Current Issues and Trends" will be held on May 10 – 12, 2023 at Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras. The International Scientific Conference is organised by the Department of Hygiene, Technology and Food Safety of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic and in cooperation with the EFSA National Focal Point on Technical and Scientific Matters, State Veterinary and Food Administration of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Society for Agriculture, Forestry, Food and Veterinary Sciences at the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava.

The main goal of the international scientific conference is to present an actual knowledge in the importance, safety and quality of milk and milk products on the level of national and foreign producers. The section of Hygiene of vegetable foods is also included with the aim of the safety, quality and processing. The poster sections also present current knowledge about safety and quality of other food commodities.
