On Saturday, November 8th 2018, ANSA Košice arranged the yearly event of serving Christmas porridge and mulled wine to the students. Both medicine and veterinary students were invited and encouraged to wear their best Christmas sweater. This event has become a tradition among the Norwegian students in Košice and was held in the canteen of the yellow dormitory of the UVMP in Košice. The porridge was mainly cooked at the canteen, but some porridge was also donated by other students so that a vegan option could be offered too. Hilde Sirnes, a priest that is working with ANSA, has visited the celebration, talked about her services as a therapist and held a Quiz for attending students. The prize was, of course, Norwegian candy! This year, the number of participating students was lower, maybe due to the upcoming credits and examinations. However, for those who came, it all added up to a great evening of Christmas spirit.
