experimental animal facility

The accredited experimental animal facility of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice UVMP in Košice (approval No. SK U 01020) provides housing of laboratory animals for scientific or educational purposes in accordance with approved projects for the needs of the UVMP departments. The maximum single stock of animals by species is 384 laboratory mice, 96 rats and 24 domestic rabbits weighing up to 5 kg. An operating room is available in the facility.
