The Institute of Milk Hygiene and Technology

The Institute of Milk Hygiene and Technology currently provides 22 study subjects in the three study programs: General veterinary medicine (5 subjects), Food Hygiene (6 subjects), Safety of food and feed (3 subjects) and Market and Quality of Food (8 subjects). It also provides teaching in 4 state subjects. In English, the Institute provides the teaching of one subject. In the third level of higher education Institute teaches in three PhD. study programmes and in the foreign study. The Institute of Hygiene and Technology of Milk provides practical lessons in the laboratories of the Institute, School Agricultural Enterprise in Zemplínska Teplica and dairy plants and other food factories in the Slovak Republic. The students participate in a professional practice in a Regional Veterinary and Food Administration of the Slovak Republic.
